Founders
Jalandhar is known for its doctors and nursing homes. With Asia's maximum number of hospitals, over the last few years, it has seen a surge in the number of super specialists and foreign-trained doctors practicing here. We are six doctors, each with an established practice of 22–25 years, with an aim to provide quality medical services in tertiary level care. We decided to pool our resources and create a new setup.
NHS Hospital (Nasa & Hub Superspeciality) is located in the heart of the city's green area. With a green patch of 100 feet in the front, around 80,000 sq ft of constructed area, and a 20,000 sq ft parking space, the hospital boasts many firsts in the area. With a focus on emergency services and critical care, this 101-bed setup offers state-of-the-art diagnostics and super speciality medical services under one roof.
A well-planned flow of patient and attendant traffic ensures a smooth and fast turnaround, making outpatient visits comfortable. Well-lit and ventilated rooms, with all doors being handicap accessible, aim to make patient stays very comfortable. Cutting-edge communication technology with an optical fibre backbone, state-of-the-art glass wall theatres, and a central plant for producing medical-grade oxygen, along with PACS and other medical facilities, are at par with international standards.
Strategically placed cafes, waiting areas, public toilets, and an attendant lounge enhance the overall experience within the hospital. Going ahead of national norms for patient safety, fire safety, energy conservation, waste management, and pollution control, we aim to be the first hospital in North India—and possibly the second in the country—to achieve platinum-grade green building status.
NHS Hospital is the first professionally managed private super speciality hospital of this scale in the Doaba region of Punjab, with an aim to raise the bar in serving the local population, neighbouring states, and the large NRI community.
